Each tray is solid Hickory with either walnut or sapele edges and black metal handles. Each board measures approximately 12” x 24” x ¾” thick, with handles and feet each is approximately 2-1/4” thick. Each board is fitted with clear “feet” on the bottom, attached with stainless steel screws.
** Please note - for easier shipping, trays will be shipped with the handles removed.
Each one is handmade from high quality solid wood and has been given a food safe mineral oil application and then a mineral oil/beeswax finish. We recommend repeating this treatment as your board starts to lose its luster.
No two trays are identical as color and grain patterns vary depending on the wood. Making each tray one of a kind and unique.
Care and cleaning: wipe off your boards with water and soap but NEVER immerse wooden products in water or let water sit on the surface. NEVER clean in a dishwasher. Towel dry. Re-apply a mineral oil or butcher block conditioner as needed. If your board endures heavy daily use, you can refinish it more often as needed.
